Abdullah believes that the use of a mantra is one of the best aids to working on oneself. The mantra quietens down associative thinking and is both a form of autosuggestion and a prayer. Saying a mantra is a means to an end. It will take many years but one day when you have quietened down, the mantra will cease and the silence will descend upon you. There will be no words at all. A mantra which came from within Abdullah is: 'Victory to the Truth, triumph to the invincible Sun, death to the ego. Holy Father the Sun, teach us how to serve without seeking any rewards save doing thy will. Allahu Akbar. Allah knows. Amen, Amen, Amen-Ra.' The paintings in this series depict these concepts.
