Editors' note: Abdullah is the Sufi name given to Neil Dougan by his teacher, Shaikh Abdul al-Qayyum of Kandahar, Afghanistan, after he had become a Muslim and had been initiated into the Naqshbandi Sufi Order. Abdullah means ‘Slave of God’.
