Editors’ note: A state of ecstasy is recognised as such because you can feel it, a vibration passes through the body. Most ecstatic states take place in the emotions on a fairly high level and are not spiritual experiences. The spirit is quite isolated from the senses.

Certain exercises, such as the sensing, can lead to a climax at the end, a state of ecstasy. The Sun comes into you and vibrates throughout your whole body ... a tremendous sensation and a form of communion with God. Unity with God, becoming merged with the Source, is attained by very few humans. People experiencing an ecstatic state are not really merged with God, but are lost in God only to a degree. If you think you have experienced an ecstatic state it is best to just let it go; it is a gift, only a taste along the way.
