Editors' note: The Taoist approach is through Nature. Lao Tse tried to tell people that the Book of Nature is the only real book. Taoists tell you to work from Nature first because, although Nature is not the Tao, it can teach you about the Tao. Lao Tse taught about the law of three in this way – ‘Man takes his law from the Earth; the Earth takes its law from Heaven; Heaven takes its law from Tao; but the law of Tao is its own spontaneity.’
