Artist's note: If man is to serve this planet then he must help others. The major factor which stops this is the profit motive. Until each can work according to his ability so all can have what they need we will always have plenty for some and starvation for others. All over the world today countries are producing too much for home consumption and destroying the surplus to keep the prices up so they can buy war equipment. On the physical scale man is the centre of the Earth and a vehicle of consciousness. Until racial and national boundaries are destroyed there will never be any real peace in the world. This painting shows the ideal.
